Responsibilities
- Create powerful, flexible user interfaces and engage with end users to understand their needs.
- Develop resilient, well-tested software and perform detailed code reviews while supporting junior team members.
- Influence technology choices, best practices, and platform improvements as a hands-on technical expert.
- Ensure platform performance, availability, and reliability targets are met and resolve production bottlenecks and risks.
- Maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks and improve incident prevention.
- Build automation for deployments, scaling, and failover, and contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements.
- Deploy, optimize, and troubleshoot applications running on Kubernetes.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, improve inefficient ways of working, and support platform users.
Requirements
- Experience developing with one or more of JavaScript, TypeScript, or Ruby.
- Deep frontend development expertise with React and experience using NodeJS.
- Experience with unit and system testing tools, code linters, and detailed code reviews.
- Experience building and deploying Docker containers and developing applications on Kubernetes.
- Experience with Bash or Python scripting and documenting system design decisions.
- Familiarity with Elastic technologies and Kibana plugin development is desirable.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, and GitOps tools or principles is desirable.
- Experience with CheckMK, Prometheus, Grafana, or Loki is desirable.
- Successful candidates must undergo DV-level security clearance.
