Responsibilities
- Write and execute basic automated test cases using Python, pytest, or unittest.
- Submit code changes for peer review through Git and Gerrit, incorporating feedback and updating patch sets.
- Maintain test scripts as feature requirements and software change.
- Run daily automated tests, analyze logs, identify failures, and write detailed bug reports.
- Help maintain Jenkins/Gerrit test triggers for preliminary automated checks.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of programming experience and a solid understanding of core Python principles.
- Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, pytest, or unittest.
- Fundamental knowledge of Git commands and willingness to learn Gerrit review workflows.
- Exposure to clean coding standards and PEP 8 linters such as flake8 or black.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
