Base Salary
$60k - $80k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assist with developing simulation software for military training and analysis under senior supervision.
- Support software development using established coding standards and best practices.
- Contribute to simulation scenarios, models, system behaviors, and integrations with C4ISR systems and external interfaces.
- Participate in software testing, quality assurance, code reviews, and debugging.
- Support technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans.
- Maintain version control and configuration management practices.
- Collaborate with team members to translate military requirements into software components.
- Follow software development standards and security guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of software development experience; internships and academic projects count.
- Basic proficiency in one or more of C++, C#, Java, or Python.
- Understanding of fundamental software engineering principles.
- Academic coursework or projects related to modeling and simulation is desired.
- Exposure to HLA, DIS, or similar modeling and simulation tools is desired.
- Basic understanding of Git and software testing principles is desired.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, debugging, and adaptability skills.
