Base Salary
$168k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the research and development of novel algorithms for motion planning in autonomous driving.
- Architect and integrate complex combinations of motion planning and prediction algorithms.
- Design and build a robust, scalable, and high-performance codebase for motion planning.
- Drive technical collaboration with perception, prediction, and control components.
- Teach better software practices and principles to team members.
- Guide and mentor junior team members in product-focused engineering and research.
Requirements
- PhD preferred in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; or a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience in robotics.
- 5+ years of research experience in robotics/motion planning with a proven track record.
- 3+ years of C++ software development experience focused on high-performance systems.
- Experience leading technical development from problem formulation to deployment.
- A strong desire for knowledge and innovation in autonomous driving technology.
