Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities.
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug software solutions for business and mission problems.
- Apply software development standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
- Develop multi-tiered or microservice applications using appropriate hardware, software, and information-processing techniques.
- Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, and document program development.
- Analyze system capabilities to resolve questions about program intent, inputs, outputs, programming techniques, and controls.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with nine years of related experience or a master’s degree with seven years of related experience.
- Experience developing multi-tiered or microservice applications.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or Google.
- Experience with containerization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or Jenkins.
- Strong scripting experience and Linux experience.
- U.S. citizenship or legal permanent residency is required.
- An active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
- Must pass Cherokee Federal pre-employment qualifications.
- Ability to work for prolonged periods at a desk and on a computer.
