Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of internal full-stack tools and automation frameworks that enhance CI/CD pipelines and test automation workflows.
- Build and maintain full-stack applications supporting requirements owners, developers, and QA teams in validating software quality and accelerating delivery.
- Integrate tools with version control systems, build pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Embed automation, performance monitoring, and IT compliance checks into the software delivery lifecycle.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and systems engineers to improve workflows and visibility into complex systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, software development, quality assurance, tools development, or web application development.
- Specialization in mainstream programming languages such as Python or C++.
- Familiarity with data structures and algorithms.
- Frontend experience with HTML, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and CSS frameworks and/or backend experience with Node.js, Express, Flask, or GraphQL.
- Familiarity with MongoDB, SQL/NoSQL, Postgres, or Databricks and data flows between systems.
- Familiarity with Robot, Unittest, Selenium, PyTest, CppUTest, or similar test frameworks.
- Preferred experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, AI solutions, LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, automotive software, embedded systems, Behave, Cucumber, GitHub Actions Workflow, VS Code extension development, CarSim, dSPACE/Control Desk, or similar HIL tools.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada, ability to travel to the US, and a valid Canadian driver’s license.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, time-management, and independent-work skills.
