Responsibilities

Design, develop, integrate, test, and deliver large-scale ground software and mission control systems, including operator GUIs and automation tools.
Develop operational automation tools to reduce day-to-day operator responsibilities.
Support ground-segment design and operation, including command and control, mission planning, mission data processing, and related infrastructure.
Develop continuous integration and testing systems for reliable software deployment.
Support end-to-end spacecraft testing in preparation for flight.
Implement mission data processing applications for payloads and end users.
Manage mission databases and data distribution.
Integrate and test ground software with satellites, ground stations, and network infrastructure.
Implement real-time satellite telemetry acquisition, processing, and visualization systems.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience with spacecraft, ground station, or other communication system operations.
2+ years of software development experience spanning backend, frontend, and database management.
Demonstrated experience using Python for backend services, scripting, and data processing.
Experience with modern web frameworks such as Vue.js or React for responsive user interfaces.
Experience with networking protocols such as UDP and TCP.
Preferred: experience with time-series databases, Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana, modern cloud providers such as AWS, satellite communication protocols such as CCSDS, source-code configuration management, version control, database management, and data visualization.
