Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of custom plant production systems, including MES, data collection, and traceability applications.
- Own project scope, deadlines, execution, status communication, risks, and deliverables.
- Maintain and evolve corporate and plant production software using .NET development best practices.
- Define technical roadmaps, architect solutions, and lead development efforts.
- Provide on-call support for plant-floor systems, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and server teams on networking, servers, and security.
- Gather requirements, support deployment, document technical solutions, and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 6+ years of progressive .NET software development experience, including C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Experience independently leading complex software projects from requirements gathering through deployment.
- Experience with lean manufacturing concepts and MES, SCADA, or traceability systems in a production environment.
- Proficiency writing SQL queries and stored procedures and managing database objects in SQL Server or Oracle.
- Strong understanding of IT security and business risk controls.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems, ServiceNow, Ignition, and Leading2Lean is highly desirable.
- Strong debugging, stakeholder communication, project management, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
