Responsibilities
- Own regression testing for ISP code changes across multiple projects and active development trains.
- Validate camera and ISP feature parity on new hardware platforms and sensors.
- Design test plans and test cases covering functionality, performance, power, stability, and image quality.
- Build and maintain automated tests for embedded systems or mobile devices.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to triage, diagnose, and debug issues to root cause.
- File high-quality, reproducible radars and identify coverage gaps, risks, and trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- At least 3 years of QA experience testing embedded system products.
- Proficiency in Python or a similar scripting language.
- Experience developing system- and feature-level test plans and test cases.
- Experience developing automated tests for embedded systems or mobile devices.
- Hands-on experience using AI-based tools to build and automate workflows.
- Preferred: understanding of camera technologies, the ISP pipeline, 3A, video formats, and color space.
- Preferred: experience with quality test gating, Pytest or another test framework, and Jenkins-based continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Preferred: experience working across concurrent development trains and hardware platforms and supporting large-volume consumer products.
