Base Salary
$160k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and operate data and training pipelines across cloud and cluster environments.
- Build and maintain distributed training and orchestration tooling.
- Design and maintain data and metadata stores supporting training and evaluation workflows.
- Architect data and model-parallel training infrastructure for applications involving more than 100TB of data or more than 100GB models.
- Operate containerized and pipelined ML training workloads, including GPU scheduling, autoscaling, dataloader design, and experiment tracking.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
- Work with relational stores, object stores, and high-throughput data formats for ML workloads.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field with strong mathematical and engineering foundations, or comparable knowledge or experience.
- At least 2 years of production experience building ML-oriented infrastructure, platforms, or distributed systems.
- Proficiency in C++, Python, PyTorch, and Linux environments.
- Familiarity with machine-learning fundamentals including training loops, operators, and architectures.
- Preferred proficiency in Go or Rust.
- Preferred familiarity with ML orchestration and experiment tooling such as Ray, Kubeflow, Airflow, MLflow, or Weights & Biases.
- Preferred familiarity with distributed training frameworks including PyTorch DDP/FSDP and DeepSpeed.
- Preferred familiarity with data-pipeline and storage technologies such as Spark, Parquet, object storage, and feature or metadata stores.
- Preferred familiarity with perception and planning concepts in autonomous driving.
