Base Salary
$137k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, customization, and architecture of NetSuite solutions for accounting and finance processes.
- Develop and maintain SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and RESTlet automation and integrations.
- Translate accounting policies into system-enforced controls, approvals, reconciliations, role-based security, and audit trails.
- Optimize financial close processes and build reporting frameworks using saved searches, financial reports, and dashboards.
- Oversee integrations with payroll, banking, consolidation, CRM, procurement, expense, and other external systems.
- Partner with Data Engineering on finance data lake or warehouse flows, governance, and master data management.
- Serve as the NetSuite R2R and O2C subject matter expert and technical advisor for Finance and business stakeholders.
- Establish NetSuite engineering practices, improve performance and reliability, provide architectural oversight, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of NetSuite development or engineering experience focused on General Ledger and accounting modules.
- Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash and Record-to-Report processes, including journal entries, close cycles, reconciliations, consolidations, and intercompany accounting.
- Proficiency in SuiteScript 1.0/2.0, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, REST APIs, and NetSuite integration patterns.
- Experience implementing system-enforced financial controls and supporting SOX compliance, role-based security, segregation of duties, and audit requirements.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP and accounting workflows.
- Preferred: experience with global, multi-entity, multi-currency accounting operations and consolidations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: familiarity with modern finance data stacks and BI/reporting tools, experience in a high-growth SaaS or technology company, and exposure to AI or finance automation.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, cross-functional collaboration, mentoring, and stakeholder-influence skills.
