Responsibilities
- Run cross-layer performance investigations across throughput, latency, and reliability.
- Own and improve the correctness evaluation pipeline for model output quality.
- Build observability, dashboards, and modeling tools for performance metrics.
- Partner with various teams to prioritize and implement high-impact optimizations.
- Stack-rank opportunities by impact and effort, rejecting those that don't meet criteria.
Requirements
- Hands-on performance engineering experience in complex production systems.
- Proficiency in Python for reading and contributing to large codebases.
- Solid data analysis skills to derive insights from telemetry data.
- Ability to communicate quantitative results clearly to influence team priorities.
- Genuine interest in correctness as an engineering discipline.
