Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop motion-control algorithms for a safety-critical autonomous driving system.
- Analyze control-system performance in offline and on-road execution environments.
- Verify system robustness against disturbances, failure modes, and environmental conditions.
- Design, implement, integrate, and verify the Aurora Driver’s motion-control system across vehicle platforms.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience working on control systems for vehicle platforms in automotive, aerospace, robotics, or related fields.
- Experience building production-quality C++ code.
- Experience designing control systems with a solid foundation in control theory.
- Experience analyzing or simulating nonlinear vehicle dynamics.
- Knowledge of state-estimation and signal-processing techniques.
- Familiarity with fail-safe or fail-operational control systems is desirable.
- Experience verifying safety-critical or autonomous systems is desirable.
- A master’s or PhD in a related field is desirable.
