Base Salary
$139k - $434k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineers, program managers, domain specialists, and client teams to design, build, and support client-facing applications.
- Gather requirements, analyze data and workflows, and define delivery roadmaps from prototype through scaled deployment.
- Rapidly prototype solutions, validate them with users, and iterate based on feedback and operational results.
- Deliver reliable data pipelines and applications that convert client data into operational workflows and decision support.
- Communicate requirements, progress, trade-offs, and recommendations to technical, non-technical, and executive stakeholders.
- Work independently, own outcomes, and drive client solutions through release.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of hands-on data engineering experience, including ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, and large-scale data integration.
- At least 5 years of experience with Palantir Foundry building data pipelines, managing datasets, and deploying applications in Palantir Foundry and/or Palantir Gotham.
- At least 3 years of prompt engineering and applied AI experience within Palantir, including AIP, model deployment, and feature engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- At least 8 years of experience with Python, PySpark, or Java.
- At least 5 years of experience leading an engineering team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent, with an associate-degree and equivalent-experience pathway specified in the posting.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to executive stakeholders, build client rapport, and produce concise technical and non-technical documentation.
- Preferred qualifications include full-stack or front-end development, Palantir certifications, consulting or client-facing experience, DevOps or CI-CD pipeline experience, large-language-model solutions, and TypeScript or JavaScript proficiency.
