Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy enterprise Appian BPM applications, including process models, rules, interfaces, records, integrations, and data structures.
- Develop React user interfaces and reusable components integrated with Appian, Salesforce, REST APIs, and other enterprise systems.
- Develop and maintain Appian-Salesforce integrations using REST, SOAP, Connected Systems, web services, and other integration methods.
- Design APIs and integration services for secure and reliable data exchange across connected enterprise systems.
- Configure Salesforce reports and dashboards and support Salesforce data integrations.
- Design and maintain application data structures and relational database integrations, including SQL-based solutions.
- Optimize application, API, database, and integration performance and troubleshoot issues across connected systems.
- Document technical designs, workflows, APIs, integrations, and configurations.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, releases, and DevOps processes.
- Mentor junior developers and promote development best practices and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Appian development and enterprise application development.
- Hands-on experience with Appian SAIL, process models, records, data types, expression rules, interfaces, and plug-ins.
- Experience designing and maintaining Appian BPM/low-code applications, forms, and workflow automations.
- Hands-on React development experience building reusable UI components and integrating front-end applications with REST APIs.
- Experience with Salesforce reports, dashboards, data management tools, and integrations with external systems.
- Experience with Appian integrations, web services, REST APIs, Connected Systems, and enterprise application integrations.
- Strong understanding of API integration concepts, authentication, data mapping, error handling, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Experience working with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, QA, and development teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Preferred Appian Certified Associate Developer or Appian Certified Senior Developer certification.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP is preferred.
