Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize platform services for Coupang Pay business services.
- Operate infrastructure and platforms that reliably process large-scale payment traffic.
- Design and implement high-availability and disaster-recovery architectures.
- Advance internal CI/CD and DevOps platforms and establish engineering operating principles.
- Build and operate platforms that meet financial security and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Coupang technology organizations on fintech-focused operations and improvements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of backend system design and development experience in Unix/Linux environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
- Development experience in containerized and cloud environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, Java, or Kotlin.
- Experience with monitoring, incident response, and large-scale system operations using Grafana, Loki, and Prometheus.
- Experience designing, building, and operating CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred experience solving organizational and system complexity, working in fintech or financial services, and understanding financial IT regulations and compliance.
- Preferred experience with API gateways, service meshes, distributed systems, microservices architectures, asynchronous messaging systems, and collaborative Agile software development.
