Responsibilities
- Package software into the supabase/postgres repo using Nix.
- Manage PostgreSQL lifecycles, ensuring timely upgrades.
- Expand platform release systems for developer self-service.
- Optimize CI/CD and tooling, including GitHub Actions.
- Resolve production issues by identifying and fixing problems.
- Maintain best practices and tests for stability and risk reduction.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with PostgreSQL and its ecosystem.
- Proven experience in infrastructure management and optimization.
- Proficiency in the Nix package management system.
- Experience with Ansible, Packer, Docker, QEMU/KVM, AWS, and Kubernetes.
- Comfortable with polyglot environments including C/C++, Go, JavaScript, and Rust.
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in async or globally distributed teams.
