Base Salary
$150k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the technical operations of IEX’s trading platform.
- Participate in designing, building, and managing systems.
- Build tools for monitoring and process automation.
- Contribute to change-management and learning-review processes.
- Troubleshoot issues across hardware, software, applications, and networks.
- Document current and future configuration processes and policies.
- Translate customer needs and projected product utilization into operational reliability targets.
- Guide development, market operations, business development, subscribers, and other functions on reliability techniques and system functionality.
- Educate and mentor the team and company on operational best practices.
Requirements
- Automation experience with Ansible or similar configuration-management tools.
- Hands-on experience with Linux, Python, Bash, and Git.
- Experience supporting large, complex, distributed systems.
- Host-side networking experience, including packet-level network troubleshooting with packet captures.
- Understanding of the TCP/IP stack, routes, and multicast.
- Familiarity with data-center workflows and coordinating changes with data-center personnel.
- Hardware familiarity, including Arista and Cisco switches and their CLIs.
- Experience with Corvil, Solarflare, and Mellanox technologies is required or expected based on the listed background.
