Base Salary
$220k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Review RFCs and collaborate on architectural decisions with security implications.
- Design and build internal security systems, including web application firewalls.
- Harden and improve security-related production software components.
- Translate compliance requirements into practical technical controls.
- Enhance monitoring, prioritization, patching, and response to vulnerabilities.
- Contribute to authentication and identity systems across environments.
- Participate in the security team’s on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in cloud security or related engineering roles.
- Strong experience in AWS, particularly in multi-tenant environments.
- Proficient in coding and maintaining tooling in Python or Go.
- Experience reviewing system designs and providing actionable security guidance.
- Working knowledge of SIEM and vulnerability management tools.
- Comfortable with both technical design and hands-on implementation.
