Responsibilities
- Implement product security controls and processes across trading infrastructure, cloud services, business applications, and Windows and Linux systems.
- Integrate security into product design and development and help maintain a secure software development lifecycle.
- Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, security code reviews, and risk mitigation planning.
- Integrate security scanning tools, including SAST and DAST, into CI/CD pipelines and runtime environments.
- Perform vendor security reviews and manage third-party security assessments.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, IT, and cloud teams on security architecture and solutions for hybrid and multi-cloud systems.
- Provide mentorship, training, and guidance on secure coding and development practices.
- Lead strategic security projects and proactively identify security risks.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in product security or similar roles, including practical experience securing software development at scale.
- Demonstrated secure coding and software development experience with languages such as Python, C++, Rust, Go, and Kotlin/Java.
- Strong background in software development, system architecture, and security tools.
- Strong knowledge of software and product security, cloud platforms, and business applications.
- Experience securing Windows and Linux-based systems.
- Extensive experience with one or more of AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Alibaba Cloud in hybrid environments.
- In-depth knowledge of threat modeling, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies for large-scale systems.
- Experience integrating security scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines and runtime environments.
- Experience conducting vendor security reviews and managing third-party security assessments.
- Leadership, problem-solving, communication, and adaptability skills appropriate for a senior-level role.
- Knowledge of low-latency financial systems is preferred.
