Responsibilities
- Analyze complex technical requirements and design solution and platform architectures.
- Design and implement cloud, Kubernetes, and container platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Develop scalable CI/CD and GitOps processes and automate development and operations workflows.
- Advise customers on platform strategies, operating models, automation, technology, and architecture.
- Design secure and compliance-conformant architectures incorporating security, governance, and best practices.
- Moderate workshops, develop architecture concepts, and act as a technical sparring partner for stakeholders and development teams.
- Support migration and modernization projects and implement solutions with project teams.
Requirements
- Several years of experience architecting and implementing modern IT cloud and platform solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, cloud-native technologies, and operating containerized platforms.
- Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, or Ansible.
- Practical experience building and operating automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Security by Design, Zero Trust, Identity and Access Management, Secrets Management, and compliance and governance requirements such as ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, or NIS2.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to different stakeholders.
- Very good German skills at C1 level and good written and spoken English.
- Strong communication skills, enjoyment of direct interaction, and a high degree of flexibility.
