Base Salary
$173k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop agentic AI systems with multi-step workflows, tool use, and autonomous task orchestration using LLM-based frameworks.
- Design, build, deploy, monitor, and optimize scalable AI and ML solutions using Python and Microsoft Azure services.
- Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications and workflows through APIs, microservices, and Azure architecture.
- Translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable, maintainable, production-ready solutions.
- Support data preparation, prompt engineering, evaluation, observability, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, reusable components, shared frameworks, documentation, and engineering standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver AI solutions and improve performance, usability, cost, and reliability.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools and share knowledge with other engineers while staying current with emerging AI technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; the role typically requires an advanced degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of professional experience with cloud technologies, preferably Azure.
- Strong Python programming, analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
- Hands-on experience with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or comparable AI-assisted coding tools.
- Hands-on experience with state-of-the-art LLMs, agentic systems, RAG architecture, graph technologies, embeddings, tokenization, evaluation, observability, LangChain, and LlamaIndex.
- Experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining production ML and LLM systems.
- Understanding of data privacy, security, compliance, AI ethics, and responsible AI development.
- Ability to prototype, iterate, and productionize AI solutions that deliver measurable business value.
- Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Ability to travel as needed, participate in on-call duties, and work effectively across geographic and cultural boundaries.
