Responsibilities
- Build software solutions, proof-of-concept applications, internal tools, APIs, and technical workflows for AI and computational modeling and simulation projects.
- Integrate algorithms, models, simulation workflows, and data processing pipelines into usable applications and services.
- Improve code quality, structure, testing, documentation, maintainability, and readiness for broader engineering handoff.
- Establish and promote modular design, code review, version control, and software development standards.
- Set up and support Python development environments, dependency management, packaging workflows, and installers.
- Collaborate with platform and DevOps teams on CI/CD, containerization, deployment, quality, security, and compliance practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience scaling technical codebases beyond one-off prototypes, including testing, documentation, and engineering handoff readiness.
- Knowledge of software architecture, modular design, API development, and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with source control, CI/CD, containers, and cloud environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
