Responsibilities
- Build and maintain production frontend features using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Develop complex forms, configuration workflows, dashboards, and other interactive application experiences.
- Integrate frontend applications with production REST APIs and handle state, validation, errors, loading states, and API responses.
- Write unit and integration tests alongside feature development and maintain existing test suites.
- Diagnose and resolve regressions, edge cases, production issues, and problems across frontend and backend service boundaries.
- Contribute to shared frontend components, libraries, tooling, design systems, and engineering patterns.
- Own features from requirements gathering and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production verification.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, documentation, and collaboration with engineering, product, and design stakeholders.
- Work within large shared codebases, Git and pull-request workflows, automated linting, build and testing processes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Use GenAI-assisted development tools while independently validating, testing, and maintaining the resulting code.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional frontend software development experience.
- Significant production experience with React and TypeScript, including hooks, component architecture, state management, and complex forms.
- Demonstrated experience writing unit and integration tests for production frontend applications.
- Production experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and working with complex API-backed workflows.
- Experience contributing to large shared production codebases and established frontend architectures or component libraries.
- Experience with Git, pull requests, code reviews, automated linting, testing, build processes, and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience using GenAI-assisted coding tools while independently understanding, validating, testing, and owning generated code.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong JavaScript and modern web development fundamentals, debugging ability, communication, ownership, and independent collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with monorepos, design systems, Node.js, Python, full-stack development, GenAI-powered products, cloud portals, developer tools, dashboards, configuration-heavy applications, shared frontend tooling, or mature software platforms.
