Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of complex tools and services that improve SaaS implementation efficiency.
- Make end-to-end architecture decisions and communicate trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Diagnose and resolve database, application, and API bottlenecks in systems operating at scale.
- Design APIs, distributed services, and components that support massive datasets without performance degradation.
- Use AI coding agents through clear specification, generation, rigorous technical review, and validation.
- Mentor engineers on technical decisions, code reviews, and maintainable architecture.
- Own complex technical problems from discovery through production.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience.
- Experience with query, database, and SQL performance optimization, profiling, benchmarking, performance tuning, data access optimization, high-volume data processing, large datasets, batch processing, and data transformation.
- Experience with distributed systems, distributed services, scalable and enterprise architecture, system design, design patterns, SOLID, separation of concerns, reliability, and maintainability.
- Proficiency with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Blazor, REST APIs, and Web APIs.
- Experience with Git, code review, automated testing, observability, monitoring, profiling, and automated deployment practices.
- Preferred experience with Claude Code, Azure OpenAI, RAG, and LLM-based features.
- Preferred experience building customer-facing data validation or onboarding tools.
- Open-source contributions or ambitious side projects are desirable.
