Base Salary
$220k - $330k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable security controls across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
- Evaluate and improve security configurations and policies to reduce risk.
- Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to develop repeatable security patterns.
- Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and architecture reviews.
- Develop automated solutions and infrastructure-as-code for consistent security outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest threats and advocate for innovative security solutions.
- Define security standards and best practices, promoting their adoption across teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure or security engineering roles.
- Deep knowledge in one or more security focus areas such as cloud security or IAM.
- Experience working in modern cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficient in secure systems design, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
- Experience with AI Agentic development and prompt engineering.
- Ability to articulate complex security topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Passionate about security and eager to learn and share expertise.
- Certifications such as CISSP or AWS Security certs are a plus.
