Responsibilities
- Hire, manage, and develop a team of pre-sales Solutions Architects.
- Set team performance goals in partnership with sales and cross-functional leadership.
- Advise strategic customers on AI adoption strategies, use-case scoping, and deployment.
- Partner with sales leadership to drive adoption of Anthropic products across healthcare and other verticals.
- Work with product and engineering teams to prioritize customer feedback and resolve adoption blockers.
- Represent Anthropic in executive customer sessions, technical workshops, conferences, webinars, and technical content.
- Establish a vision for solutions that enable safe and beneficial AI in technology products.
- Stay current with emerging AI trends, research, and the broader AI ecosystem.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar pre-sales technical professional.
- 3+ years of technical pre-sales management experience.
- Experience selling complex technical products to Healthcare and Life Sciences companies.
- Deep technical proficiency with enterprise AI use cases, API integrations, and enterprise solution rollouts.
- Understanding of go-to-market organizations based on consumption business models rather than SaaS sales cycles.
- Experience building and scaling teams and processes in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Strong communication, collaboration, coaching, executive presence, and relationship-building abilities.
- High-level familiarity with the architecture and operation of large language models.
- At least 5 years of experience leading Solutions Architect teams through hypergrowth is preferred.
- Hands-on AI platform and enterprise integration experience, including engagement in $10M+ technical evaluations and enterprise sales cycles, is preferred.
- Demonstrated success adapting technical approaches for payers, providers, life sciences, medtech, or other healthcare customers is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience is required.
- The required field of study must be relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.
