Base Salary

$120k - $155k/yr

Responsibilities

Develop, debug, and maintain high-quality mobile and web applications using React Native and TypeScript.
Build and extend applications in a JavaScript/TypeScript monorepo while sharing components, utilities, and tooling across platforms.
Use Expo for React Native development, testing, and deployment workflows.
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver intuitive, user-centric experiences.
Implement and contribute to accessible, scalable design systems, including component libraries, theming, and tokens.
Write clean, reusable, well-tested code and ensure applications are performant, reliable, and maintainable.
Integrate client applications with RESTful APIs and apply defensive programming patterns for low-latency and high-volume data.
Participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and continuous improvement activities.

3–5 years of professional experience in frontend or mobile application development.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
Hands-on experience building applications with React Native.
Familiarity with Expo and its ecosystem for local development, build, and deployment workflows.
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript monorepos such as Nx, Turborepo, or similar tools.
Experience implementing or consuming design systems, including component libraries, theming, and design tokens.
Working knowledge of state management patterns and solutions used in React Native applications.
Experience with modern build tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of integrating client applications with RESTful APIs and handling low-latency or high-volume data.
Comfort using AI-powered developer tools for coding assistance, test generation, and documentation support within established guidelines.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
