Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership across multiple engineering teams and guide architecture, engineering practices, and technical priorities.
  • Design and evolve scalable, highly available, and resilient distributed systems for financial and dealer-facing solutions.
  • Define technical strategy, architectural roadmaps, modernization initiatives, and cross-team technical decisions.
  • Lead application development using Java, Node.js, TypeScript, and React.js.
  • Design cloud-native and serverless solutions on AWS.
  • Drive software quality, testing, observability, operational readiness, reliability, scalability, security, and performance improvements.
  • Improve developer productivity through CI/CD optimization, automation, and Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code.
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance to senior and junior team members.
  • Manage technical risks, dependencies, and architectural challenges across teams.
  • Design solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases with attention to performance, data modeling, access, and scalability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Advanced English communication skills for technical discussions, presentations, stakeholder collaboration, and influencing decisions.
  • Extensive experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
  • Strong expertise in Java, Node.js, TypeScript, and React.js.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS cloud services and serverless architectures.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, integration patterns, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience influencing technical direction and driving architectural decisions across teams without direct authority.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, performance optimization, and data modeling.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
  • Experience with observability platforms and operational excellence practices, including New Relic.
  • Strong understanding of automated testing, reliability engineering, and production support.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership across multiple teams or complex product domains, architecture initiative leadership, mentorship, and strategic decision-making.
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model three times per week in Indaiatuba/SP.
