Responsibilities
- Lead technical and business testing team members in preparing for and executing testing initiatives for core investment banking projects.
- Participate in requirements and design reviews with Product, Business Analysis, and Development teams.
- Perform requirements reviews and traceability analyses to assess test coverage.
- Oversee test execution initiatives, schedules, and key milestones.
- Evaluate and escalate risks and issues affecting quality, schedule, or budget.
- Execute tests and provide progress reporting for stakeholders and executive review.
- Monitor QA activities, test results, defects, and root cause analyses.
- Identify improvement opportunities and lead initiatives to mature the QA test program.
- Drive testing strategy, code quality, testability, and reliability improvements.
- Coordinate effectively with teams in other geographies, including work outside standard hours when needed.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of Quality Assurance experience in the financial services industry.
- Experience with BDD and DevOps testing methodologies.
- Strong experience in API testing using various tools.
- Proficiency in SQL and working experience with MongoDB.
- Strong UNIX, shell, Perl, and Python scripting experience.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, and BDD/TestNG frameworks is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the SDLC and demonstrated experience driving testing strategy.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, documentation, multitasking, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects, changing priorities, tight deadlines, and cross-functional global collaboration.
- Strong business acumen and ability to connect analytics with business decisions.
