Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and oversee enterprise-scale cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Lead architecture and delivery for complex full-stack applications using React, Angular, TypeScript, .NET, C#, Python, Node.js, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Own end-to-end Azure architecture covering networking, security, governance, identity, observability, resilience, performance, and cost optimization.
- Define enterprise Infrastructure as Code standards using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical design sessions, solution governance, application modernization, cloud migrations, and hybrid cloud integration.
- Guide teams in designing and implementing AI and Generative AI solutions using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, agentic AI frameworks, RAG, vector databases, and enterprise AI architectures.
- Establish architecture standards, coding practices, security requirements, and cloud governance frameworks.
- Lead globally distributed engineering teams and coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams.
- Provide delivery oversight including risk management, estimation, roadmap planning, technical dependencies, budgets, and timelines.
- Mentor architects and senior engineers, evaluate emerging technologies, and engage with executives, clients, product owners, program managers, and engineering leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 15 years of professional software engineering and solution architecture experience, including at least 8 years architecting enterprise solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Experience serving as a Lead Architect, Enterprise Architect, Chief Architect, or Principal Architect for large-scale enterprise programs.
- Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure services including App Services, Functions, API Management, OpenAI, Generative AI Services, Storage, Key Vault, Containers, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Service Bus, Event Hubs, Landing Zones, Virtual WAN, Networking Services, and Monitor; AKS is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with .NET, C#, Python, Node.js, REST APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architectures.
- Strong frontend architecture experience with React, Angular, TypeScript, and modern UI/UX frameworks.
- Expertise designing enterprise Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
- Deep understanding of Azure networking, including Virtual Networks, VPN, Private Endpoints, ExpressRoute, DNS, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, Azure Firewall, and network security architecture.
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and release management.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Managed Identities, Azure Policy, and Defender for Cloud.
- Proven success leading geographically distributed engineering teams and coordinating complex delivery efforts.
- Strong executive communication, presentation, stakeholder management, client-facing, Agile, Scrum, and enterprise-scale delivery skills.
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification AZ-305, Azure Developer Associate certification AZ-204, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification AZ-400, and Agile certifications such as CSM, PSM, or SAFe Agilist are preferred.
- Preferred experience includes agentic AI and multi-agent architectures, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Agent Framework, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, AutoGen, Microsoft Copilot Studio, AI Foundry, RAG, enterprise integration platforms, Fortune 500 transformations, and regulated industries.
