Responsibilities
- Manage GCP cloud infrastructure and services, including Compute Engine, VPC, Cloud IAM, Cloud DNS, MIGs, Cloud Functions, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Run, and GKE.
- Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform and Deployment Manager.
- Build and optimize deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions and other tools.
- Containerize applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Automate operational processes using Linux, Bash, and Python scripting.
- Monitor systems with Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and Kibana.
- Implement DevSecOps practices including SAST, DAST, container image scanning, and SBOM generation.
- Manage IAM policies, service accounts, and workload identity federation.
- Use GCP Billing APIs, Budgets, and Recommendations for cost governance.
- Automate alerting and dashboards with the Cloud Monitoring API.
- Implement distributed tracing with OpenTelemetry.
- Develop autoscaling strategies for GKE and MIGs.
- Optimize container images and deployment pipeline caching.
- Design multi-region failover and backup strategies using GCP services.
Requirements
- At least six years of professional experience.
- Experience with GCP core services including Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, DNS, MIGs, Cloud Functions, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Run, and GKE.
- Experience with Terraform and Deployment Manager.
- Experience with GitHub Actions and deployment automation tools.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with Linux, Bash, and Python scripting.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and Kibana.
- Experience with DevSecOps practices, identity management, cost governance, observability, autoscaling, and disaster-recovery strategies.
