Base Salary
$149k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define testing strategies with cross-functional teams for complex AI-enabled projects.
- Develop and execute automated and manual system test plans.
- Triage integration issues, reproduce problems, and help identify root causes and solutions.
- Escalate software, hardware, and resource issues to project and executive leadership.
- Track testing activities and maintain stakeholder alignment.
- Improve test coverage and testing methodologies.
- Serve as the release gatekeeper and provide customer-focused product feedback.
- Orchestrate AI model deployment, testing, and scoring with development teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of embedded software experience in data centers, networking, security, cloud services, or automotive, plus at least 1 year of AI model development and testing experience.
- Experience with test methodologies and system-level testing of physical devices.
- Familiarity with the Linux command line and proficiency in shell scripting.
- Experience with quality assurance for cloud platforms on private and public cloud infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of AI fundamentals, neural networks, model deployment, and ML flow.
- Strong experience with end-to-end testing of cloud-controlled or monitored embedded products.
- Ability to review and challenge product requirements, designs, and functional specifications.
- Proficiency developing, reviewing, and modifying Python scripts for test coverage.
- Experience designing and implementing AI/ML test automation and deployment tools.
- Familiarity with PyTest, Playwright, Behave, or similar test frameworks.
- Familiarity with data analytics test tools is a plus.
- Proficiency with JIRA, Jenkins, or similar tools.
