Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end IoT platform architectures for data ingestion, processing, analytics, and interconnected device workloads.
- Lead the development and implementation of architectural standards and best practices for IoT solutions.
- Design scalable data ingestion pipelines, real-time processing workflows, data models, and schemas.
- Coordinate multiple teams, facilitate cross-functional alignment, and contribute to key decisions.
- Act as a subject matter expert, make team decisions, and provide solutions spanning multiple teams.
- Mentor junior team members and support their technical and professional development.
- Optimize data workflows for analytics and reporting while considering IoT data security and privacy.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in Data Architecture Principles.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong knowledge of scalable data ingestion pipelines and real-time data processing frameworks.
- Experience with cloud-based IoT platforms and integration of diverse vendor technologies.
- Ability to develop data models and schemas for high-volume, high-velocity IoT data.
- Familiarity with security and privacy considerations in IoT data architecture.
- Skills in performance tuning and optimization of data workflows.
