Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Prepare data for learned models.
- Develop and evaluate artificial intelligence and machine learning models.
- Contribute to machine learning development and deployment pipelines from data through model integration.
- Support the development and transition of innovative AI capabilities into Boeing aerospace products and services.
- Work independently and collaboratively with distributed and international teams.
Requirements
- Must have completed the first year of a PhD program by July 2027.
- Must be available to work full-time for 10–12 weeks during Summer 2027.
- Must be pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Experience preparing data for, developing, and evaluating learned models.
- Experience with programming languages and data tools including Python, MATLAB, C++, C, Java, SQL, Teradata, Tableau, Gephi, or Airflow.
- U.S. Person status is required to meet U.S. export-control compliance requirements.
- Preferred qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science, Data Science, or a similar field; at least one year of relevant jobs, internships, or assistantships; machine learning development and deployment pipeline experience; and experience with ADO, JIRA, and Git.
