Responsibilities
- Drive the reliability and scalability of payments and billing ecosystems.
- Provide technical leadership and support during critical incidents.
- Lead sustainability initiatives to address technical debt and architectural weaknesses.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define sustainability engineering.
- Shape the value proposition of the Pay organization and prioritize high-impact opportunities.
- Mentor and support less experienced engineers through feedback and guidance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in product leadership and translating business goals into technical roadmaps.
- Strong background in system architecture and designing scalable systems.
- Expertise in defining technical standards and engineering excellence.
- Experience with frontend and backend development, including API versioning and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of operational maturity practices, including observability and incident management.
- Interest in AI-driven development and modern AI-augmented workflows.
