Base Salary
$120k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with multiple product groups on distributed systems design, cloud-layer interactions, infrastructure code, and large-scale dependencies.
- Lead by example and mentor engineers in producing extensible and maintainable code.
- Develop and promote engineering insights, best practices, and standards across products and operations.
- Improve product architecture, code, features, operations, and end-to-end usage scenarios.
- Provide technical leadership in test maturity reviews, static analysis reviews, on-call rotations, and incident response.
- Resolve major incidents using deep business and technical expertise.
- Build scalable ML infrastructure and AI-powered automation to improve operational autonomy, quality, security, reliability, and customer trust.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience building software and services on Microsoft Azure or another cloud computing platform.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: master’s degree and 6+ years of experience, or bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience with AI, machine learning, risk assessment systems, or intelligent automation solutions.
- Preferred experience with DevOps practices, continuous integration and continuous deployment, infrastructure as code, and service reliability engineering.
- Preferred experience analyzing large datasets and translating insights into product or engineering improvements.
- Preferred experience leading technical initiatives and influencing architecture, design, and engineering practices across teams.
