Base Salary
$139k - $258k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ensure high uptime and quality of service through operational excellence.
- Define and maintain service level objectives and service level indicators.
- Collaborate with product teams to improve service reliability and partnership.
- Improve resiliency through performance/load testing, code review, and chaos engineering.
- Support globally distributed multi-cloud environments across AWS and Azure.
- Automate repeatable operational tasks to reduce toil.
- Apply AI/ML, generative AI, AIOps, anomaly detection, predictive alerting, automated root-cause analysis, and AI agents to reliability workflows.
- Resolve performance and stability issues and participate in an on-call rotation.
- Determine root causes of production incidents and write RCA reports.
- Mentor junior engineers and potentially lead technical reliability initiatives.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience; a higher degree is preferred.
- 5–7 years of experience in SRE or a related field.
- Deep understanding of software engineering and technical operations.
- Expertise with Kubernetes, EKS, AKS, and ECK.
- Experience with cloud-based SaaS delivery technologies, automation, Linux operations, monitoring, logging, and the listed development and infrastructure tools.
- Programming experience with Python, Java, Ruby, and scripting languages.
- Hands-on AIOps experience applying machine learning to observability, alerting, and automated remediation.
- Experience with Claude, Claude Code, AI agents, prompting, and responsible AI-assisted development.
- Understanding of operating, observing, and scaling AI/ML workloads, including GPU infrastructure and model-serving or inference monitoring.
- Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, Splunk, and other logging solutions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- U.S. Citizenship or Green Card status required for support of a FedRAMP Moderate environment.
Benefits
- U.S. pay range is $139,000–$257,550 annually, with a California range of $177,900–$257,550.
- Non-sales roles may receive short-term incentives through Adobe’s Annual Incentive Plan.
- Certain roles may be eligible for a new-hire equity award.
- The role includes an on-call rotation and supports a FedRAMP Moderate environment.
