Base Salary
$185k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and global rollout of the Core platform for market data, quantitative research, pricing, and strategy groups.
- Develop and validate tools, frameworks, and data-driven capabilities for systematic pricing and trading strategies.
- Build exchange connectivity software that receives market data and sends orders through exchange APIs and protocols.
- Maintain and extend testing suites while optimizing exchange communication, TLS, and connection handling.
- Implement trading algorithms and improve the stability, reliability, performance, monitoring, and observability of trading engines.
- Investigate production crashes, business-logic issues, and performance bottlenecks, and prepare new trading-engine releases and deployments.
- Work with engineers, quantitative researchers, technical traders, and trading operations to refine requirements and iterate on designs and implementations.
Requirements
- BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent qualification or experience.
- At least five years of post-graduation professional C++ software development experience, preferably in proprietary trading.
- Ability to write clean, reliable, and highly scalable code.
- Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Experience with parallel, asynchronous, and multithreaded programming.
- Interest in achieving maximum performance from available hardware and software.
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical business colleagues.
