Responsibilities
- Advise C-level executives and enterprise customers on AI readiness, data democratization, and high-performance object storage.
- Design and validate large-scale architectures integrating MinIO with AI/ML pipelines and modern data lakehouse ecosystems.
- Represent MinIO at conferences, webinars, and meetups and create technical whitepapers, reference architectures, and blog posts.
- Partner with sales and customer success teams on high-stakes deals, technical objections, proofs of concept, and large-scale deployments.
- Translate customer pain points, market trends, and emerging AI and analytics patterns into product and engineering requirements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in technical leadership roles such as Enterprise Architect, Chief Architect, VP of Engineering, or Field CTO.
- Demonstrated customer-facing or evangelist experience presenting to technical audiences and C-level business executives.
- Deep understanding of generative AI, LLMs, RAG workflows, and vector databases.
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML data pipelines and frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, Ray, and Hugging Face.
- Expertise with open table formats and modern query or compute systems including Apache Iceberg, Apache Hudi, Delta Lake, Trino, Presto, Apache Spark, Flink, and StarRocks.
- Strong command of Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native orchestration.
- Deep understanding of the AWS S3 API, RESTful APIs, distributed systems design, and the role of high-throughput storage in preventing GPU data starvation.
