Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure containerized software components for cloud environments.
- Implement and maintain Kubernetes or equivalent clusters, including networking, security, and observability.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with security gates and automated testing.
- Perform security assessments of containerized applications and cloud deployments and drive remediation.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code for repeatable and auditable deployments.
- Collaborate with software, systems, and security engineers on secure architectures and deployment patterns.
- Document designs, security controls, and operational procedures for cloud-deployed container platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, master’s degree with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year; an additional 4 years of experience may substitute for the degree.
- Active SCI clearance at application or active TS clearance with the ability to obtain SCI before starting.
- Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining containerized applications such as Docker.
- Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Experience deploying software to commercial, private, or on-premises cloud environments including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience developing CI/CD automation scripts using tools such as Jenkins, Python, or GitLab.
- Linux administration and shell scripting experience.
- Experience with CI/CD tools including GitLab CI, Argo CD, Defect Dojo, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Active Security+ certification.
- Preferred qualifications include space-program experience, Kubernetes security and hardening, infrastructure-as-code tools, security frameworks, SAST/DAST, supply-chain security, runtime security, observability, service meshes, cloud IAM and networking, regulated-environment experience, and complex automated deployment processes.
