Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines that move data from various sources to data warehouses.
- Develop new connectors and patch software operating on a global Kubernetes compute cluster.
- Contribute to code, code reviews, and architectural design.
- Own services and ensure technical excellence and reliability.
- Process terabytes of customer data into clean, incremental, automated updates.
- Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to technical leadership.
Requirements
- Recent hands-on software development experience with strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience building reliable distributed systems and managing high-volume data for enterprise or web-scale products operating under strict SLAs.
- Broad knowledge of software development and automation, including algorithms, data structures, software design, and programming best practices.
- Expertise with Java, AWS, cloud-based APIs, and databases.
- Ability to identify design flaws and develop system improvements.
- Technical leadership, communication, innovation, productivity, quality, and customer-service skills.
- Ability to use conversational AI systems such as Claude and ChatGPT to support SDLC artifacts including TDDs, PRDs, postmortems, test plans, and proposals.
- Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines is a bonus.
- Experience with performance engineering is a bonus.
