Base Salary
$100k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own product development and contribute to technical roadmap and product strategy.
- Design and implement Cogent’s AI product experience for multi-tenant cloud and single-tenant enterprise platforms.
- Build and launch customer portals, knowledge engines, internal labeling tools, and external customer dashboards.
- Develop scalable backend systems, frontend experiences, APIs, and integrations across the full software stack.
- Create intuitive generative interfaces for cybersecurity products.
- Help establish engineering culture and contribute to Engineering Excellence, Operational Excellence, and Recruiting initiatives.
- Onboard, support, and develop future team members and contribute to the interview process.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a hands-on engineer developing scalable, high-quality applications across the full software stack.
- Expertise designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems including microservices, APIs, and databases.
- Strong frontend development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and web technologies including React, Vue, Angular, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
- Ability to integrate backend services with dynamic, user-facing frontends to deliver performant product experiences.
- Proficiency in API design using RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or gRPC and integration with internal and external systems.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD deployment pipelines, and cloud environments including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Experience with Agile development processes, code reviews, sprint planning, and collaborative cross-functional teamwork.
