Base Salary
$175k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own Groma’s onchain technology stack as the first full-time blockchain engineering hire.
- Build, deploy, and maintain production smart contracts on EVM networks, including Ethereum and Base.
- Connect smart contracts and blockchain systems to backend and frontend interfaces.
- Work across backend, frontend, blockchain infrastructure, and occasionally spreadsheet-based solutions.
- Partner directly with stakeholders to identify business problems and build pragmatic, reliable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
- Provide technical direction and independently execute across the company’s technology stack.
Requirements
- Expertise in Solidity development and significant hands-on experience building, deploying, and maintaining production smart contracts on EVM networks.
- Ability to work independently across blockchain, backend, frontend, and infrastructure technologies.
- Familiarity with or ability to quickly ramp up on Python, TypeScript, Django, React, Google Cloud, Postgres, and Ethereum.
- Strong interest in early-stage startup work, product-oriented engineering, technical breadth, and rapid execution.
- Preferred experience with RWAs or real estate, multiple token standards, on-chain securities compliance such as ERC-3643, and DeFi protocols such as Morpho and Uniswap.
