Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain desktop software applications using Microsoft technologies.
- Design user interfaces, business logic, and reusable software components using MVVM and software engineering practices.
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures.
- Build solutions that collect, process, visualize, and manage data from industrial and engineering systems.
- Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and industrial data platforms.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualization solutions.
- Troubleshoot application and database issues and support reliable system operation.
- Collaborate with software, controls, electrical, test, and product engineering teams.
- Support software modernization, user experience improvements, and future web-based applications.
- Maintain technical documentation and participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- 2 to 3 years of software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET technologies.
- Experience developing desktop applications with WinUI, WPF, or similar frameworks.
- Working knowledge of MVVM architecture, object-oriented programming, and software design principles.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases, including SQL query writing and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with source control systems such as Git or Azure DevOps.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred exposure to industrial software, engineering systems, manufacturing, automation, laboratory, or test equipment environments.
- Preferred familiarity with Industrial IoT, data acquisition, real-time monitoring, industrial connectivity, APIs, dashboards, reporting, data visualization, cloud technologies, CI/CD, and deployment methodologies.
- Preferred exposure to ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, Blazor, React, Angular, or other modern web technologies.
