Base Salary

$213k - $263k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop quantitative models and statistical techniques for complex evaluation challenges.
  • Build automation and scalable infrastructure to improve evaluation-pipeline efficiency.
  • Implement statistical, machine-learning, and mathematical algorithms for large datasets.
  • Build data-processing pipelines and improve evaluation products for data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product managers, and leadership.
  • Write, review, and merge maintainable code while championing code health and engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • BS in mathematics, physics, or another quantitative field.
  • 3–5 years of experience navigating and modifying large codebases, performing statistical analyses, building data-processing pipelines, and following industry code-quality standards.
  • Fluency implementing statistical, machine-learning, and mathematical algorithms for large datasets.
  • Experience adapting techniques from research papers to applied problems.
  • Strong self-motivation and comfort working with ambiguity and open-ended problems.
  • Preferred: PhD in a quantitative field; C++ and Python programming; experience developing, evaluating, and deploying products at scale; and experience with Agentic AI.
