Responsibilities
- Build talent intelligence agents and pipelines that find, enrich, and rank engineering and GTM talent.
- Develop sourcing, company and founder research, diligence, competitive analysis, customer-call synthesis, and memo-drafting workflows.
- Make firm knowledge from founder and customer conversations, memos, and playbooks searchable and useful.
- Automate portfolio reporting, LP updates, and back-office processes in partnership with finance leadership.
- Create reusable AI playbooks and tools for deployment across portfolio companies.
- Build and ship usable products by talking to users, identifying real problems, iterating quickly, and balancing build-versus-buy decisions.
Requirements
- Require 3–6 years of software engineering experience, including at least 1–2 years shipping LLM-powered products or internal tools to production.
- Require a BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Require strong Python skills; TypeScript experience is a plus.
- Require comfort working across data pipelines, APIs, and simple front ends.
- Require hands-on experience with LLM APIs, retrieval, agents, tool use, and evaluation.
- Require experience with messy real-world data such as CRMs, email, calendars, and third-party data providers.
- Require product judgment, clear communication with non-technical partners, and the ability to work independently with light direction.
- Preferred qualifications include internal-tool or intelligence-product experience at a VC, investment, or data-heavy operations firm; early-stage startup or founder experience; venture or enterprise software GTM familiarity; recruiting or people-data experience; and public work demonstrating technical thinking and building.
