Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy computer vision and machine learning systems enabling robots to perceive and grasp their environments.
- Build and optimize robotic control algorithms and motion-planning systems for real-world deployment.
- Implement monitoring, fault-detection, and diagnostic tools to support reliable robotic operation at scale.
- Conduct large-scale model training, simulation, and A/B testing to validate and improve system performance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate software with robotic hardware and manage the full deployment lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot issues and monitor system performance across laboratory and production environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience mentoring, serving as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Experience delivering complex software systems involving deep learning, machine learning, and computer vision to customers.
- Experience with computer vision systems, ML and AI models, robotic control, motion planning, and process management.
- Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
