Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable mobile applications for consumer lending solutions.
- Develop responsive user interfaces using React and React Native.
- Implement secure REST API integrations between mobile clients and backend services.
- Configure and optimize networking behavior, including connectivity, retries, timeouts, error handling, and data transfer.
- Translate consumer lending requirements into technical designs that balance regulatory constraints, operational risk, and usability.
- Use Git branching, merging, code review, and release workflows to support reliable delivery.
- Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end testing across loan origination, repayment, and account management scenarios.
- Investigate production issues using logs, performance metrics, networking diagnostics, and API debugging.
- Optimize rendering performance, payload sizes, and caching strategies.
- Document architecture decisions and technical implementation details.
- Embed encryption, validation, and data protection practices into mobile architecture.
- Mentor peers on React, React Native, REST API design, and mobile architecture patterns.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and cross-functional delivery activities.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing mobile application architecture using modern component-based and navigation patterns.
- Advanced proficiency in REST API design and consumption, including request modeling, response handling, and error management.
- Strong capability with networking libraries, including timeouts, retries, connectivity detection, and secure transport.
- Solid React skills for modular components, state management, routing, and data-driven workflows.
- Deep React Native experience building high-performing cross-platform mobile applications and using native modules when needed.
- Fluent Git usage for pull requests, conflict resolution, and release tagging.
- Practical knowledge of consumer lending concepts, including credit assessment, loan lifecycles, repayment schedules, and regulatory considerations.
