Base Salary
$211k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Set the technical strategy for the API platform and advocate for engineering-driven investments.
- Drive team improvement and enable engineers to deliver high-quality work.
- Collaborate with other engineering groups and represent API engineering interests.
- Partner with Product Management, Design, Data Science, and User Research to understand developer needs.
- Shape guidelines for good API design and assist product engineering teams in implementation.
- Develop across the entire stack, writing clean code in Scala, Javascript, and Typescript.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience working in large codebases.
- 2+ years leading engineering teams.
- 1+ years building public-facing API products or Developer Platforms.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills.
- Deep project management experience including timeline planning and stakeholder management.
- Passionate about mentoring engineers and providing constructive feedback.
- Curious about AI tools and emerging technologies.
